Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Amman To Jerusalem

Morning transfer (08:00): Transfer from Amman to Allenby Bridge. Your Jordanian driver will assist with immigration on the Jordan side.

You will then take shuttle buses from the Jordan side to the Israel side (approximately 2km). The Jordanian driver cannot cross into Israel but will help you with the process.

After completing immigration on the Israel side, your driver will be waiting at the main gate holding a sign with your name. You will then ascend to Jerusalem, the Holy City.

Jerusalem city tour:

  • Panoramic view of the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives.
  • Garden of Gethsemane.
  • Old City visit including:
    • Western Wall.
    • Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
    • The Cardo (main Byzantine street).
    • Exit through Zion Gate.
  • Tomb of King David.
  • Room of the Last Supper.
  • Dormition Abbey.
  • Modern Jerusalem:
    • Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum).
    • Ein Karem (traditional birthplace of John the Baptist).

Free time in Jerusalem.

Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 2: Jerusalem To Bethlehem And Back To Jerusalem

After breakfast: Drive to Bethlehem where you will meet a Palestinian guide.

Bethlehem program:

  • Visit a refugee camp and see the separation wall up close.
  • Visit a Palestinian organization.
  • Aida Refugee Camp: A guided walking tour and discussion with camp officials. The camp was established in 1950 on 66 dunums between Bethlehem and Beit Jala and is under UNRWA supervision. From the camp you can also see sections of the Separation Barrier and some of Banksy’s famous graffiti.
  • Solomon’s Pools: Fed by four springs and dating back to biblical times; the current pools date to the time of Herod the Great.
  • Church of the Nativity: Visit the site traditionally recognized as the birthplace of Jesus of Nazareth.

About Bethlehem: A Palestinian city in the central West Bank, around 10km south of Jerusalem, with a population of about 30,000. It is the capital of the Bethlehem Governorate and an important hub for Palestinian culture and tourism. It is also home to one of the world’s oldest Christian communities, though the community has declined due to emigration.

Late afternoon: Drive back to Jerusalem.

Free time in Jerusalem.

Overnight: Jerusalem.
