What To Bring?

  • Personal ID/Passport
  • Sleeping bag, Ideally sleeping comfort level 5 degrees or warmer (we can provide upon request)
  • Daypack to carry your water, snacks, and personal belongings (20-30L)
  • Broken in hiking shoes/boots (your regular hiking shoes)
  • Comfortable hiking clothes (quick dry pants or shorts, light color clothes i.e: white, blue..etc)
  • Extra hiking socks
  • Gore-tex jacket or Rain poncho 
  • Fleece or equivalent material to keep yourself warm
  • Down Jacket or any equivalent insulated material to keep yourself warm
  • Sun protection: sunglasses, headwear (buff, scarf, hat...etc), Sunscreen SPF 50+
  • Headlight or flashlight
  • Fresh clothes to wear at camp (thermals, socks) 
  • Hiking gaiters (Optional)
  • Hiking Poles (Optional) 
  • Flip-flop or clean shoes to wear after the hike (Optional) 
  • Personal medication (If applicable)

Are the bathrooms/toilets on the hike?

If we are staying in lodges, home stays, or official campsites, then toilets will be provided, and at times showers. Otherwise, if we are wild camping then toilets are not provided. 

Where is the drinking water coming from?

Clean water station will be available to refill your water bottles (Please avoid single use water bottles and bring your own water bottle to minimize our impact)

What kind of food will we eat?

(Open Buffet for dinners & breakfasts, and box lunches)
Vegetables, fruits, dates, eggs, rice, bread, and meats (we can accommodate food based on the client's preferences and dietary restrictions). 

Is there support along the trail? What will they be carrying?

Full support will be provided, fully supported wild camp including tents, mattresses, cook & vehicle to transport your luggage to each camp spot

Is the plane ticket included in the price?

No. You will have to book your own flight to Jordan. Unless you ask us otherwise. 

Will you issue me an invoice?

Yes. Furthermore, payments can be made in cash, by check, or by credit card. 

Is it safe?

Hiking is not a dangerous activity, but a certain degree of caution is required. You simply need the right mindset and gear. 

What about tips, is it mandatory?

No, it is not, but highly recommended if you appreciate the service as listed below: 

  • Main guide: 15 - 20 $ per person/day 
  • Support team: 7 - 10 $ per person/day
  • Driver: 7 - 10 $ per day
